Environmental remediation, redevelopment, and industrial modernization in New Jersey all live or die by the engineering documents behind them. Owners, developers, and operators come to Anco when a project needs NJDEP permitting, sealed design work, or planning-board testimony delivered by the same professionals who know what is happening in the field. Our LSRPs and professional engineers work in-house, which is why our drawings track what our crews can actually build.
What In-House Engineering Delivers
Environmental and civil engineering translate investigation data into a permitted, buildable plan. That covers NJDEP submissions such as IRSA filings, NJPDES discharge approvals, permits by rule, and administrative consent orders, along with the geotechnical analysis, treatment-system design, and institutional-control documents that keep a remediation moving toward closure. Because our LSRPs are accountable under SRRA, every deliverable is prepared with the Response Action Outcome in mind from the first page.
Design work is grounded in our own field data. Soil borings, standard penetration testing, and hydrogeologic evaluations are performed by our drillers and interpreted by our engineers, so treatment systems are sized against real stratigraphy rather than assumed values. When a project needs a Classification Exception Area, environmental deed restriction, or engineering control to support a deed notice, those documents are drafted, sealed, and shepherded through NJDEP review by the same team.
Planning-board and code-enforcement hearings are a routine part of the work. Our engineers prepare site plans, grading and stormwater exhibits, and the technical testimony that municipal reviewers expect, and they remain engaged through construction so that field conditions get resolved without stopping the project.
- NJDEP IRSA, NJPDES, permit-by-rule, and administrative consent order filings
- Geotechnical investigations and soil characterization for foundations and earthwork
- Sealed design of soil vapor extraction, sub-slab depressurization, and groundwater treatment systems
- Environmental deed restrictions, Classification Exception Areas, and institutional-control documentation
- Planning, zoning, and code-enforcement exhibits and engineering testimony
If your project needs an engineering team that can file with NJDEP, stand up in front of a planning board, and oversee the crews installing the system, we can help. Contact Anco Environmental Services to scope the permitting, design, or geotechnical support your site actually needs.
